Improvement Trust Moga
Moga Improvement Trust Moga is a local government body with the task of developing new schemes in planned manner. The Punjab government constituted Moga Improvement Trust Moga vide notification dated 27-11-1972. It is governed under the Punjab Town Improvement Act 1922. The Act has made Moga Improvement Trust Moga accountable to the public at different levels. The scope of the success of Moga Improvement Trust Moga greatly depends on the extent of active involvement and cooperation of the allottees in all its development schemes and programs. Moga Improvement Trust Moga played significant role in the development of Moga city by providing 5 commercial schemes and 2 residential schemes. The endeavor of the Moga Improvement Trust Moga is to provide quality of services to the allottees of various schemes. The Trust is more accountable to the general public with implementation of Right to Service Act.

Moga District is the 17th District drawn on the map of Punjab State on 24th day of November 1995. Before this, Moga was the sub-division of Faridkot District. Moga town the head quarter of the District is situated on Ferozpur-Ludhiana road. Area of Dharamkot block with 150 villages has been emerged in Moga district vide. Pb. Govt. notification No. 2/36/98-R.E. 2(1) 6408 dated 5-11-99.
